c. Ginnie Mae issues mortgage-backed securities.
d. Ginnie Mae's focus is to support the secondary market for conventional
loans.
The most accurate statement describing the function of Ginnie Mae is:
b. Ginnie Mae guarantees investors the timely payment of principal and interest on MBS loans issued by the FHA and the VA.
Ginnie Mae, or the Government National Mortgage Association, plays a crucial role in the secondary mortgage market. As a government agency, Ginnie Mae provides a guarantee to investors for mortgage-backed securities (MBS) loans issued by the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This guarantee assures investors that they will receive the scheduled principal and interest payments on these loans, even if the borrowers default. By providing this guarantee, Ginnie Mae helps promote liquidity in the MBS market and encourages the flow of capital into the mortgage lending industry.
In more detail, Ginnie Mae operates by purchasing pools of loans, which are comprised of mortgages backed by the FHA or the VA. These loans are originated by approved lenders and are then bundled into MBS securities. Ginnie Mae guarantees these MBS securities and issues them to investors in the secondary market. The guarantee ensures that investors will receive their principal and interest payments on time, regardless of whether the individual borrowers make their payments or not.
This function distinguishes Ginnie Mae from other government-sponsored enterprises, such as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which primarily support the secondary market for conventional loans. Ginnie Mae's focus is on promoting homeownership opportunities for lower-income individuals and families by facilitating the availability of affordable mortgage financing through the FHA and VA loan programs.

Then my men took the wax from their ears and unbound me. Immediately after we had got past the island I saw a great wave from which spray was rising, and I heard a loud roaring sound. The men were so frightened that they loosed hold of their oars, for the whole sea resounded with the rushing of the waters, but the ship stayed where it was, for the men had left off rowing. I went round, therefore, and exhorted them man by man not to lose heart. ‘My friends,’ said I, ‘this is not the first time that we have been in danger, and we are in nothing like so bad a case as when the Cyclops shut us up in his cave; nevertheless, my courage and wise counsel saved us then, and we shall live to look back on all this as well. Now, therefore, let us all do as I say, trust in Jove and row on with might and main. As for you, coxswain, these are your orders; attend to them, for the ship is in your hands; turn her head away from these steaming rapids and hug the rock, or she will give you the slip and be over yonder before you know where you are, and you will be the death of us.’ Which line from the passage show characteristics of a hero in an epic? The missing paragraph and questions are:
Ambient Air Pollution Pollutants are categorized into two types: primary and secondary. Primary pollutants are directly emitted from the source, and secondary pollutants form when primary pollutants chemically react in the atmosphere. O3 is a good example of a secondary pollutant because it is formed when volatile organic compounds and nitrogen oxides (NOx), precursors produced from motor vehicles and industrial sources, react in the presence of sunlight. Owing to the nature of its production, O3 has a diurnal profile with a rising in the morning after heavy traffic and a peak in the 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. period. In the evening, scavenging of O3 by nitric oxide (NO) titration in areas with heavy traffic reduces O3 to much lower levels, compared to daytime highs. High O3 levels may occur in downwind communities later in the afternoon and evening, stemming from airborne transport to areas without heavy traffic. O3 is a powerful oxidant and respiratory tract irritant in adults and children, causing a number of symptoms including shortness of breath, chest pain, etc. when inhaling deeply.
What are the two types of pollutants?
a) First and second
b) Main and secondary
c) Primary and secondary
It is a secondary pollutant that causes a number of symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest pain, etc. When inhaling deeply.
a) 3O
b)O3
c) Chemicals
The answers are:
c) Primary and secondary and b) O3
The name of the two types of pollutants is in the first line of the paragraph when it says, "Ambient Air Pollution Pollutants are categorized into two types: primary and secondary." The paragraph does not mention other names for the classification of pollutants such as first and second or main and secondary; therefore, the answer is primary and secondary pollutants.
The secondary pollutant that causes several symptoms is O3, also known as ozone. The text shows that O3 is a secondary pollutant when it says, "...secondary pollutants form when primary pollutants chemically react in the atmosphere. O3 is a good example of a secondary pollutant ..."
3O is not the correct formula, and it is not present in the paragraph.Chemicals are not the correct answer since the question is asking for a specific secondary pollutant. Besides, O3 is a chemical component that reacts with other chemicals resulting in secondary pollutants. That is why this option is incorrect. In conclusion, the correct answer is O3.To sum up, after reading the text and looking for the evidence that shows the correct answers, the two types of pollutants are primary and secondary, and an example of a secondary one is O3.
